Most of us encounter stress in our daily lives, at home or at work. How we react to stress affects the quality of our life experience. Learning to cope in stressful situations and to channel your feelings into affirmative action, can make stress a positive rather than a negative pressure, heightening your creativity, increasing your potential and maximising your skills and talents. This workshop examines the effect of stress in all its manifestations and develops tools and techniques designed to make stress work for you rather than against you.

By the end of the workshop learners will be able to:

  • Understand the difference between pressure and stress
  • Recognise individual reactions to stress
  • Develop a range of tools and techniques to successfully manage stressful situations
  • Develop a personal stress strategy
